TEI (Tax Executives Institute) is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and service-oriented Member and Chapter Services Coordinator. This position will report to and work closely with the Manager, Membership and Chapter Engagementand will be responsible for the coordination and support of operations associated with the TEI member experience.

Tax Executives Institute was founded in 1944 by 15 corporate tax executives in New York City and is dedicated to improving the tax system in a principled, effective manner. Since its founding, TEI has grown into a global organization of over 6,200 members representing over 3,000 of the leading businesses in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Member and Chapter Services Coordinatorwill provide primary support for the membership and chapters of TEI. They should have experience working with an AMS and communicating in writing and over the phone with members and chapters. Specific responsibilities include:
MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Acts as the primary contact for all prospective, new and existing members.
Responds to requests for information, assistance, and guidance.
Coordinates the review of current member applications, working with prospects as needed to complete applications.
Maintain member reports: including chapter, new member and member types.
Monitor TEI Career Center postings.
CHAPTER RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains Chapter records in Netforum.
Coordinates submission of required chapter reports and documents.
Coordinates the annual chapter awards process.
OTHER
Works with all TEI departments to ensure the success of the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelors degree or relevant professional experience.
Minimum of 1- 2 years' experience, preferably in an association environment.
Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred experience includes:
Association Management Systems; preferably Netforum
Microsoft Office operating system
Association experience desired but not required.
TRAVEL
About 10% (to go to TEI educational and networking events)
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Base compensation is commensurate with experience

Annual performance-based bonus and salary increase
Hybrid work arrangement requiring two days/week in office
