Position Summary:As an Accounting Manager, your role is to support the Director of Finance in managing the financial operations and accounting functions of the club. You will work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, adherence to financial policies and procedures, and effective financial management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:include but are not limited to:
Establish and recommend to management major economic objectives and policies for the Club.
Prepare reports, which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
Direct and assist in the preparation of the annual Operating and Capital Expenditures budgets.
Enter, analyze, and review financial data and transactions in the Club’s general ledger.
Direct and assist determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
Assist in the preparation for annual financial statement audit.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Assist in the preparation of the monthly membership statements.
Assist in developing monthly analytics reports and Key Performance Indicators.
Assist in the preparation of annual insurance renewals.
Support all accounting functions when need dictates.
Assist in the preparation of reports required by regulatory agencies.
Address relevant membership inquiries.
Ability to work on-site during normal club weekday (Monday – Friday) business operational hours.
Any and all other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge and skills:
Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and initiative in handling routine problems.
Advanced knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; and three to six-years’ experience in accounting, Certified Public Accounting (CPA) or candidate.
