The Events Manager will design and implement all program elements of content creation for ISA technical conference and related events. They will monitor alignment to strategic events goals including portfolio growth and product area/organizational profitability. Additionally they will serve as event staff for in-person events, both domestic and international.
This individual chosen for this role will serve as product manager providing direction for a multitude of scheduled events and formats including virtual, hybrid and live conference events, webinars and on-demand products. Logistics management and event content management will feature heavily in this role. This person should be very comfortable presenting to groups and leading discussions.
Implements all aspects of pre-, real-time, and post-program technical content delivery activities including SME/volunteer program committee management, vendor facilitation, program development, logistical resourcing (venue site specific) and platform and onsite management, as required. International travel is REQUIRED for this role.
Additional responsibilities:
Collaborates with marketing liaisons in execution of campaign strategy and streamlining of event promotion tactics. Prospects potential sponsors and assists in fulfillment requirements towards sponsorship sales team goals. Negotiates and close contracts, as required.
Collaborates with third party content providers, as it relates to ISA involvement and partnership opportunities.
Collaborates with training team to assist in development and setup of on-demand, online conference content products. Works with team on alignment of training offerings in conjunction with scheduled conference events, as necessary.
Provides reporting, input, analytics and customer feedback to team and management as it relates to goals/objectives, process improvement, budget preparation and business plan development.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Requires minimum four-year degree, or commensurate experience, and a comprehensive knowledge of business and organizational management practices.
Experience: Requires – 3 - 5 years proven business experience including project and budget management/administration. Ideal candidate will have a unique blend of business acumen, organizational management, and meeting/event design and delivery experience.
Skills & Abilities: Necessary qualities include excellent interpersonal communication, customer service, organizational and project management skill
