SEGD is Hiring: Open Positions for a Communications Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication, graphics, writing, and organizational skills to join us as our full-time Communications Manager. This role oversees and coordinates internal and external communications, ensuring its message and graphics are engaging and consistent with SEGD’s brand.

Key Responsibilities
Prepares marketing materials for SEGD’s events and programming
Directs and produces all graphic materials and social media representing the organization
Maintain a timeline to produce, publish, and update all images and other pieces for annual events, weekly e-newsletters, website content, marketing, etc.
Produces digital publications such as agendas, media planners, prospectuses, etc.
Develops annual events graphics and social media calendar
Oversees annual magazine production - utilize a template to create and work with the printer to complete within the annual budget and timeline
Updates and maintains graphic templates for all communications ensuring they meet the creativity and level of excellence aligned with the brand standards
Coordinates outside contractors for all communications/articles and promotional and weekly materials
Job Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong graphics skills, including experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts
Familiarity with email marketing and newsletter platforms
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies
Knowledge of website content management systems
Understanding of brand standards and ability to ensure consistency in messaging and design across all communication channels
Experience in project management and ability to keep projects on track and within budget
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in the experience design industry.
