Membership sales and retention and manage Affiliated program for trade association. Full time, salaried position.
Sells the organization’s membership and affiliated program services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects. This intermediate sales position requires a broad knowledge of the organization’s services, products and marketing techniques, and requires proven sales experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITES
Actively pursues prospective member sales.
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from staff members, industry contacts, business directories, trade journals, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Manages existing revenue-share programs (Affiliated programs) and actively pursues new partnerships to enhance membership value.
Contacts current and prospective customers to address membership retention goals, solicit new members or sales. Contacts are in-person or via phone.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts. Works with other staff members to keep account activities and literature up to date. Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Develops and maintains relationships with new and existing Allied and Affiliated Service members. Works on networking, potential partnerships and events.
