The IGCS seeks to hire a part-time employee, who will work in a remote environment but interface with other staff and volunteer leaders on a regular basis.
Job Title: Education Coordinator
The Education Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Education Manager with the implementation, execution, and evaluation of educational programming developed by the Education Committee and the Scientific Program Committee for the Annual Global Meeting with the oversight of the Education Manager.
The position reports to the Education Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with arranging meetings and conference calls with committees; develop and distribute agenda materials; draft, distribute, and archive meeting minutes and ensure follow-up on all action items.
Participate in calls with the Education Committee and Annual Meeting Program Committee.
Update analytics and progress reports in preparation of committee meetings and board meetings.
Assist with executing operational logistics for educational events, including, but not limited to; speaker invitations and communication, technology set-up, registration, tech rehearsal, scripting, slides, recording distribution, and post-event wrap up.
Responsible for assisting Education Manager with live online events.
Upload and maintain educational content both on the learning management system and maintain library of original content files.
Review and provide edits for education and annual meeting marketing emails.
Assist Digital Marketing Coordinator with updating website content
Assist with monitoring the IGCS education and IGCS pathology email inboxes.
Provide on-site support during the IGCS Annual Global Meeting.
Performs other duties as assigned.
