At AMGA we’re paving the way for medical groups and integrated systems of care to deliver the next level of high-performance health. Our foundation has an opening for a Coordinator, Population Health Initiatives, reporting to the Senior Manager, Population Health Initiatives. The Coordinator will support the Population Health Initiatives team in implementing their quality improvement programs, like Best Practices Learning Collaboratives, Quality and Innovation Collectives (QuIC) and the Acclaim Award.
Our programs unite participants to develop solutions to quality improvement challenges—from managing chronic conditions to optimizing organizational performance. These communities of knowledge accelerate systematic change and catalyze lasting breakthroughs in patient care and service. A successful Coordinator will provide the support needed to ensure the Collaboratives, QuICs and acclaim award run smoothly and that stakeholders remain engaged and committed to the initiatives. S/he must be able to thrive both independently and in a team environment. This person will be a quick learner, strong problem-solver, and critical thinker with a “can-do” attitude. Flexibility, reliability and ability to work well with campaign stakeholders are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate collaborative, QuIC and acclaim webinars, which includes managing registration process, compiling PowerPoint slides, arranging pre-webinar calls with featured guests, and day-of hosting.
- Coordinate program in-person conferences, including member registration, hotel contract and logistics, scheduling speaker pre-calls and compiling PowerPoint slides.
- Coordinate program virtual conferences, including production company contract and logistics, member registration, managing run-of-show and day-of technical logistics, scheduling speaker pre-calls and recording sessions, and compiling PowerPoint slides.
- Maintain process for keeping track of AMGA membership changes as it relates to program participants and Acclaim Award applicants, and update as needed.
- Maintain the collaborative members-only sites and closed-listserv for participants, and provides members with assistance on platform when needed.
- Assist with program marketing, including mass and individual email campaign, press releases, social media posts.
- Assist in development of reports to sponsors, grantors, members, collaborative committees, Task Force members, and other stakeholders.
- Support research and planning for development of materials and reports.
- Coordinate logistics for team’s participation involvement at annual AMGA conferences, including conference signage, liaising with speakers, facilitating reimbursements, compiling slides, among other activities.
- Coordinate PHI participation in internal and external conferences.
- Provide quality assurance for program activities (e.g., cross-checking lists, proofreading materials).
- Provide administrative support including scheduling and creating agendas for cross-departmental and external meetings, creating check requests and letters, submitting invoices, etc.
- Other duties as assigned to support the Population Health Initiatives team.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience desired
- Experience conducting outreach and follow-up via phone and email
- Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Very strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Follows direction closely and produces timely, error-free work
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Ability to take on multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Experience working in Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel with strong formatting skills
- Experience working in a database to input/update data as well as extract desired information
- Proficiency in webinar (e.g., Zoom and Cisco WebEx platform) and CRM platforms (e.g., Nimble) desirable
