Position Summary: The Coordinator of Professional Development and Resources, reporting to the Director of Professional Development and Resources, is responsible for coordinating the planning, execution and administrative aspects of the Council for Exceptional Children’s (CEC) professional development offerings, online programs and professional resources.

- Coordinates and supports the development, planning, and execution of CEC’s professional development programs and services including; webinars, e-learning programs, Life Centered Education (LCE) curriculum, conventions, resources, workshops, and contract trainings.
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and program presenters to effectively coordinate and provide administrative support to the PD department including; drafting presenter agreements, processing presenter and vendor payment requests, scheduling presentations with presenters, recording virtual presentations with speakers, etc.
- Serves as an administrator for and coordinates online program registration processes in CECs various hosting platforms and Learning Management System.
- Responds to professional development related customer service inquiries, and/or assisting customers with registration, program (or service) platform access or technical assistance requests.
- Identifies and informs internal stakeholders of improvements and/or updates to external communications (website, program information, etc.) that can improve the customer experience with CECs Professional Development programs and resources. Coordinates needed changes with CEC’s PD, Marketing and Member Services stakeholders.
- Coordinates and facilitates the submissions and peer-review process with volunteer reviewers for CEC’s Exceptional Teacher Resource Repository.
- Tracks and provides the Director of Professional Development with regular reports on CEC’s programs and resources, including metrics on program/event registrations, evaluation feedback, LCE accounts, customer service requests, program metrics and revenue data.
- Drafts, edits, formats, schedules, and disseminates program materials and communications including program evaluations, training resources, event reminders, PDH verification and related information to program registrants and presenters.
- Provides administrative support for various workgroups, volunteer groups, committees, volunteer leaders and CEC staff related to CECs Professional Development and/or Resources.

Education/Experience: BA/BS degree and two or more years of progressive experience in providing support to the development of professional programs and/or eLearning programs; events management experience a plus; background with Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms and/or Association Management Systems (AMS) strongly preferred.
Language Ability: Strong written and oral communication skills and proofreading and editing skills; excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups.
Technology Skills: Competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and background with Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms and/or Association Management Systems (AMS) strongly preferred.
