ABOUT THE POSITION
The Marketing & Sales Associate is a combination of creative powerhouse and director of first impressions at ISA.
Working closely with the VP of Strategic Initiatives and Director of Marketing & Communications, this role collaborates and executes the creative content and launch strategy behind all of ISA’s branded events, products and services. This role executes effective campaigns inclusive of ISA’s vision, mission and overall strategy that deliver on expected results.
This role is also responsible for the first impressions of ISA and is the front-line resource for members by responding to inquiries and requests. Focused on member needs while maintaining processes and technology of systems, databases, website content and mobile apps, the ideal candidate wants to be a sponge soaking up the many opportunities available to add value to the team and to ISA. Being a self-starter is a must! Being a strong creative collaborator is a must! We truly have a “One-Team” mentality.
This position would report directly to Vice President of Strategic Initiatives but would collaborate heavily with marketing, communications and all executive leadership.
Number 1 requirement – the ability and desire to master new skills and capabilities to help elevate the whole team.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a 4-year college or university in a related field (i.e., Business, Marketing, Communication, PR, etc.).
2+ years prior experience in sales and/or marketing.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools (email marketing, social media, SEO, backend website functions, etc.).
Proficiency in web-based solutions and internet related databases.
Quick to adapt to hardware/software platforms and technology.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Travel as needed and when appropriate (team meetings, task force, industry events) ~ every other month on average.
This is a fully remote position that would require you to work from your home whenever not traveling for ISA. However, because of the frequency of our meetings and needs for collaboration, we are seeking candidates that live within 2 hours’ drive east/south of York, PA as York is where we typically meet as a team. This would include, Central Pennsylvania, Philadelphia metro area, central New Jersey, and Baltimore as examples.
