Job Title: Systems Analyst
Reports to: Director, Enterprise Applications
Job Summary: Responsible for supporting ASHP team members in efficient, effective use of ASHP business systems. Will work with internal staff to research business problems to implement and improve computer systems. These responsibilities will cross many systems, including ASHP’s association management, financial and Office 365 systems. Analysis, troubleshooting, configuration management, testing, bug reporting and vendor management are critical responsibilities of this position.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Interacts with others to advise on and facilitate the execution of ASHP’s programmatic and operational initiatives.
Work with IT and non-IT staff to gather and document requirements for new processes within a system and new systems.
Troubleshoot existing systems and business processes to determine the best approach for solving problems or improving processes.
Plan and implement integrations between enterprise systems using Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software or create specifications for internal or external development teams.
Evaluate data to define and solve problems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requires a minimum of a four year degree in technology, business or related field.
Requires five to seven years of prior related work experience.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills and excellent interpersonal relations skills.
Detail oriented with an organized approach to planning and implementation.
Collaborate and interact with technical and non-technical internal users.
Ability to work in a customer-focused environment.
Experience with business applications, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software systems, ecommerce platforms and collaboration tools.
Experience in documenting IT procedures and processes.
Ability to query and interpret Structured Query Language (SQL) data using SQL Server Management Studio.
Develop requirements, documents, test plans and configurations for information systems.
Propose solution options for stakeholder input.
Proven ability to head efforts to utilize Office365 collaboration tools and Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
Experience with data migration, integration and reporting tools.
