What the Program Manager does The Program Manager, Executive Office position is key in assisting AGU accomplish its mission to promote discovery in Earth and Space science for the benefit of humanity by being operational in focus. The purpose of this role is to support the Director and the Executive Vice President (EVP) in the Executive Office by developing and demonstrating knowledge of AGU programs and communicating that information upward; implementing goals and objectives of the strategic plan within the Executive Office and across AGU; coordinating, maintaining and improving organization and administrative affairs, and developing workflows and instructions to ensure proper training of staff. Reporting to the Director of Executive Office, the Program Manager will provide supervisory support for the Executive Office staff.
