VAA promotes a team approach to all aspects of the operation of the Association. Although this position will be the lead on the duties discussed below, all members of the VAA staff are expected and encouraged to take part in all aspects of the Associations day to day activities. This position is the lead for the association’s event planning activities. This includes member activities, technical conferences, meetings, and training programs that are held in a virtual, in-person and hybrid format. The Member Relations Specialist position also requires the handling of other administrative functions related to the operations of the association. This is a full-time position coordinated by the Head of Administration and reports to the President. In-state and out of state events are held by the Association. Event travel is required.
