McCabe Message Partners—an award-winning, DC-based public relations agency specializing in health and the issues that affect it—seeks Account Manager candidates. We work with supportive clients on meaningful issues in a fast-paced, fun, challenging environment. Agency experience is preferred; a penchant for details is a must. Our clients include many of the nation’s leading foundations, medical societies, trade associations, academic institutions, and others.
Comprised of 28 team members, some of whom excelled in the healthcare practices of the nation’s largest PR firms, the agency combines the expertise and client roster of a national firm with the heart and soul of a boutique business. We seek creative, organized candidates with two to seven years of communications experience who have strong writing and presentation skills and knowledge of health issues.
Typical projects include writing news releases, opinion-editorials, and blog posts; compiling comprehensive media lists and conducting targeted media pitching; managing digital content; overseeing the design of products; developing videos, podcasts and other visual media tools; conducting research to inform our work; and more.
Most importantly, the successful candidate will be high-energy and ready and willing to dive deeply into health and health policy, excel in juggling multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously, and enjoy working in a team-based environment.
