Fast paced scientific association seeks a 30-40-hour, Membership Coordinator who will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of membership. This position will provide support administratively to the Society’s membership department and will report to the Senior Director of Membership. Key responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
Heavily involved with the coordination of the membership recruitment and retention efforts;
Receive and respond to requests from members on a timely basis;
Overall management of Career Center activities;
Assist with membership marketing efforts and driving the Member-Get-A-Member Campaign;
Handle coordination and communication with key ASCPT volunteer groups and stakeholders;
Attendance and contribution to the Annual Meeting and other ASCPT events as deemed necessary, some of which will require more than a 30-hour work week;
Other duties as assigned
We are looking for an individual who will complement our existing team, bring new ideas, skills, and a can-do attitude. Experience in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines is critical. Experience and interest in working within a remote environment is a plus.
The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience working within a membership or customer service role. Experience with association management systems desired; skills in all Microsoft Office products, strong communication skills, along with the ability to pitch in, as needed, are essential. Must possess a high degree of integrity and maturity, and handle confidential information discretely and appropriately.
