What is the Role?
We are looking for a General Manager to run our Dallas, TX CAMP store.You will be responsible for:
Building, inspiring and leading a team of store experience supervisors and associates dedicated to delivering magical experiences and building community.
Acting like an owner. The CAMP store you manage is yours to run. You have innovative ideas and creative solutions that will improve the store’s operations, productivity, and your team’s development.
Overseeing day-to-day store operations including:
Delivering an outstanding customer experience
Fostering relationships with our returning guests and neighbors, delivering a long lasting, memorable experience and creating CAMP evangelists from our store associates.
Recruiting, hiring, training, developing and retaining all team members
Day-to-day people management and HR (you own this for your store but will be supported by People & Culture Team).
Store level logistics/ operations
Facilities and security maintenance
Compliance and safety management (including food services at each location’s Cafe)
Managing financial responsibilities such as:
Achieving high performance and store profitability.
Labor efficiency / managing top line sales and more
Consistently communicate with the Store Support (Corporate) team to provide actionable feedback & suggestions.
Working closely with CAMP’S Experience Team to supervise in-store events, programming, and activities --carefully curated for parents, children, & families.
Supporting exclusive member-only experiences and unique in-store programming at your location to further inspire and delight our community members and drive additional revenue.
Ensuring the execution of visual merchandising strategy in partnership with our Buyers and Operations teams.
Providing consistent feedback to our Buyers to identify areas of opportunity for new products and sharing the voice of the customer as received in store.
What is required?
You are entrepreneurial and want to own your business.
You are not afraid to take smart risks to obtain measurable results.
6+ years of people management experience.
You are located in Dallas, TX but open to travel to our Flagship in NYC when needed for training and more.
You are agile and flexible in your thinking and are always willing to “roll up your sleeves” to work with the team to accomplish amazing amounts of work.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
You have a passion for delivering unique and memorable retail experiences.
You are passionate about recruiting, hiring, growing and retaining quality talent.
You have experience coaching and training employees through programs focused on sales, customer service and product education.
You want to deliver experiences that drive loyalty and exceeds customer expectations.
You desire to be part of a tight knit team that is transforming the traditional retail experience.
You hold yourself and your employees/team to high standards.
