The Database Administrator has overall responsibility for the integrity and correctness of the association's iMIS customer database.
The ideal candidate will need to be able to function at both the data-input level - adjusting and correcting the data when necessary; and at the management level - recommending policy regarding how data is set-up and stored. The Database Administrator will also be tasked with creating queries and producing reports when necessary.
The position requires an individual who is capable of providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external users of the database in a timely manner.
The Database Administrator reports to the COO.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible of the integrity of the information in the organization's iMIS database
Provides excellent customer service and responds thoughtfully to customer inquiries and requests
Liaise with various departments on their database needs
Produce monthly reports and analysis and develop data queries as needed
Three or more years of hands-on iMIS use including updating and maintaining database records.
Strong customer service skills to internal users and the ability to offer training to new and current staff users.
Proficient with database query development, research, and data analyses.
Knowledge of iMIS 20 strongly preferred.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook
Self-motivated, highly organized, and in possession of strong analytical skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, interact with individuals having a diversity of cultural and regional backgrounds, and work independently as well as a part of a team.
