The Coordinator of Member Services is responsible for ensuring awareness of member services and increasing engagement of members throughout NGA’s member companies. The Coordinator will assist in the development and implementation of initiatives and programs related to member outreach and relations while helping to attract and on-board new members to NGA.
Engage in outreach activities for new and current members
Administers programs to support individual members and promote membership, including:
Member recognition program
Onboarding / orientation programs for new and reinstated members
Coordinating with other departments to enhance members-only offerings and segmentation on current and new initiatives
Maintaining and updating membership engagement report
Updates member and prospect information in association database
Works with the membership team to target and onboard new member prospects
Provide excellence customer service and support to NGA members
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
1-2 years of experience in an association or nonprofit organization
Experience in sales a plus
Must be able to effectively write reports and business correspondence
Must have strong customer service skills and an enthusiasm for engaging with others
Must possess a positive and proactive attitude along with excellent communication, specifically written, and interpersonal skills
Must be a self-starter, who is proactive and has a strong work ethic and can-do attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Familiarity with association management software a plus
Attention to detail and able to work cooperatively in a small, team environment
Available to travel (anticipate 10-15% travel)
