Veritas Meeting Solutions, a fast-growing Association Management and Meeting Planning company specializing in medical sub-specialty associations, is seeking a Full-Time experienced CME Program Coordinator to work in our East Dundee, Illinois office.
Veritas seeks an experienced Program Accreditation Coordinator to take responsibility for ensuring that the portfolio of client organizations’ CME programs are compliant with the rules and regulations of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). This includes, documenting how the activity was planned, developed, implemented, and evaluated in a compliant manner. This role requires extensive project management experience and willingness to juggle multiple clients’ program development at the same time. One must be creative and committed to excellence.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain compliance with the ACCME Criteria and Standards for Commercial Support for all Veritas client organization CME activities. This includes maintaining the documentation to support compliance for all CME activities.
Manage accreditation and certification processes and serve as the primary contact for those bodies.
Facilitate client organization abstract submissions, providing status reports upon request.
Serve as program support for additional Continuing Education programs as required (e.g., CLE/Continuing Legal Education, DDS Accreditation and Chiropractic Accreditation).
Conduct needs assessment, gap analyses, evaluation and outcomes measurement at both activity and program levels.
Working together with Veritas staff, facilitate and/or provide oversight for client program agendas from inception to print (or online), ensuring compliance of educational, marketing and promotional materials.
Prepare reports and analysis when requested.
Evaluate CME conferences, seminars and programs upon request to ensure compliance with ACCME standards.
Serving as staff liaison for all faculty (speakers, moderators, abstract presenters, etc.) to include program invites, acceptances/declines, program summaries and ongoing correspondence and history tracking.
Maintain disclosures and other CME requirements to ensure ACCME compliance.
Collaborates with others to assist with problem identification and resolution.
Light travel to include some national and international client meetings.
The position requires strong management abilities and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CME management.
Minimum of 1-3 years of CME practical and administrative experience, preferably in a medical association or academic CME program.
Strong knowledge of ACCME Guidelines.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong focus on flexibility, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, good follow-up and judgment. Must be able to prioritize.
Must possess excellent communication and writing skills, patience, professionalism and ability to effectively interact with client, staff, and management alike.
Is a self-starter and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to analyze information and solve problems.
