The Chapter Services Coordinator is a supportive force behind both, and we’re currently seeking someone exceptional to take the helm. The ideal person for the job will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and impeccable attention to detail. He/she will have previous experience working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks and providing support to coworkers. The ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position.
Here’s what you need to know:
Project management: track submissions through data entry, create timelines, provide status reports, coordinate resources needed, and communicate deadlines and requirements to staff and chapter leaders.
Volunteer management: serve as staff liaison to Program Awards Committee. Responsible for recruitment and orientation of new committee members; maintaining all communications, deadlines and resources needed to complete the work of the committee; and coordinating recognition efforts and soliciting feedback/evaluation of the Program Awards Committee work/process to ensure continued service of the volunteer members.
Communications: responsible for writing and editing multiple projects (program library submission summaries, monthly newsletter to chapter leaders, technical manuals, etc.) on multiple platforms (digital/print catalogue, e-newsletter, web site, printed forms/documents, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university
Minimum 3 years of work experience, preferably in association membership and chapter relations
Chapter or component relations experience
Volunteer management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details and proven ability to manage multiple priorities (writing samples should be provided)
Ease of adaptation/use of new and existing software/tools—including database entry in iMIS, end-user support for custom designed online chapter administration software, web site content management system, video editing software, learning management system, and all MicroSoft Office products
Ability to work effectively in collaboration with individuals and groups
