This business builder, who will report directly to the CEO, must be committed to helping the company grow and to work with high level VIPs including C-Suite executives and high-level government officials.
Billington CyberSecurity produces the leading event in Federal cybersecurity now entering its 10th year. The Federal cybersecurity sector is the largest cybersecurity sector in the world. The company based in Maryland--at the epicenter of cybersecurity--is looking for a salesperson with at least 3 years of experience and a demonstrated track record developing relationships, selling sponsorships and driving new revenue at the C-Level in a B2B environment.
Preferred candidates will have experience and a passion for closing and doing so in a way that builds trusted relationships. A knowledge of the unique dynamics of selling in the Washington DC market is particularly important. Absolute integrity is essential. High level business building skills to sell new events is also important. Overall, the company is seeking a positive, can-do and entrepreneurial business builder who likes to roll up his sleeves to help a company CEO grow the finest events in cybersecurity in the world.
Identify, solicit and close key new accounts.
Develop with CEO sales propositions and collateral for new business with strategic insight into the industry to ensure pitches are innovative and in line with the highest quality of the brand. ?
Ownership of multiple ongoing accounts and lead new accounts.
Build long-term professional and trusted relationships with clients. ?
Profit and loss responsibility on accounts, working to deadlines.
High integrity, loyalty and confidentiality a must.
Ensure proper follow-up on deliverables with sponsors to make their experience world class
