Our company provides full-service management to trade and professional associations, as well as specialized services including program development, non-profit financial management, membership oversight, and event coordination. We are seeking a full-time Director of Education to oversee education and training initiatives for a growing national trade association in the sports construction industry.
Oversee the planning, implementation and delivery of learning opportunities for association members
Develop or identify, implement and manage an online learning platform for members
Support educational component of large annual conference (700 attendees) through multiple tracks of programming
Support educational component for 1-2 regional hands-on workshops (100 attendees) through in-the-field training
Manage continuing education and compliance requirements necessary for AIA and ASLA credit
Review recertification requirements of association’s certification programs to ensure achievability through online and in-person educational offerings
Provide support for speakers in advance of meetings and onsite
Strong understanding of meetings-related technology, audio-visual, etc.
Outreach to association members to help identify training needs for their employees
Oversee production of training videos “in the field” at member facilities
Oversee research projects with industry partners and related organizations

Education & Experience – A bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years experience with education and training. Knowledge of construction industry a plus.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Knowledge of web-based technology platforms required. High degree of organization and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional customer service attitude. Ability to manage multiple projects at once and move projects ahead efficiently in a deadline driven environment. Possess a positive team-player attitude.
Travel – travel within North America for 4-5 events per year.
Job Location – This is predominantly a telecommuting position.
Telecommuting is allowed.
