The Membership and Communications Associate provides membership and communications support to the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT). Coordinates and edits select external communications for consistency and clarity of message for intended audience. Acts as primary contact for Regulatory Training, Leadership Issues Forum and Annual Meeting registrations. Manages select newsletters and publications.
Manages credentialing, registration, and member processes and communications for 3 annual member-focused meetings: Regulatory Training, Leadership Issues Forum, and Annual Meeting.
As lead Staff Liaison, manages the administration of the Education Committee.
Manages creation and distribution of select member-focused publication, including monthly News Briefs, quarterly National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) Faculty Newsletters, biannual Federation Forum, Annual Meeting Program Notebook and Program-at-a-glance, and select FSBPT newsflashes.
Oversees select vendors, including contract writers and the annual meeting print house, recording engineer, transcriptionist, clothing vendor, gifts vendor, award vendors, and graphic designers.
Manages the administration of the email marketing system.
Updates select sections of the website, typically within the Members Area section.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field.
Five to 8 years of direct and related experience
Work at a non-profit is a plus.
