Entrepreneurs’ Organization is seeking a transformational technology leader for the position of Chief Information Officer.
This role is responsible for bringing about an enterprise technology transformation that focuses on the user experience for members, volunteer member leaders and staff across the globe. The right candidate for this position will be able to design and implement a long-term strategy for the Organization while focusing on short-term projects to gain immediate benefits for the current user base. The candidate must be able to completely transform the way that members and staff access and leverage technology to support the key pillars of the Organization’s offerings to its member base: a network of peers for support anywhere in the world.
The candidate must be able to provide access to all members, regardless of region, to all tools, to strengthen the global connection of the Organization’s membership base. The role will also set a strategy that will enable the Organization to access and use data about its members and prospects to improve member offerings and drive member growth.
This candidate will ideally be based in the Washington, DC area, will report directly to the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s CEO, will lead a team of approximately 6-10 engineers and technology professionals and will serve on the CEO’s five-person Executive Team guiding EO management and operations. They must demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence. It is critical that this role build rapid and strong rapport and respect with staff, members and volunteer member leaders.
Create and execute a technology roadmap that supports the Organization’s strategic
Lead and deliver mission-critical IT projects on-time and on-budget.
Drive a culture of constant collaboration across the Organization without sacrificing overall objectives.
Formulate and execute initiatives that improve the Organization’s user
Drive a strong technology culture based on recruiting and managing top engineering
Develop long-term staffing and outsourcing plans to meet the Organization’s
A strong and current management background in IT (10+ years with strategic planning and execution).
Experience leading change processes with a wide variety of
Experience with various systems including, but not limited to, CRM - Microsoft Dynamics and other mission-critical software platforms and their infrastructure and service levels in both hosted and cloud environments.
Experience managing budgets and effectively planning and managing activities within the established parameters of approved
Solid understanding of data tools and analysis and the importance of data
In-depth technical aptitude, impeccable business judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively to various groups and teams across the Organization to build collaborative
Strong ability to understand and balance corporate goals, team goals, and individual goals in order to make appropriate technology
Strategic thinker with experience presenting solutions to the most senior-level audiences.
Prior experience with membership associations and/or collaboration with volunteers in non-profit organizations
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science
