AISC is looking for a Conference Coordinator to play a key role in the successful implementation of our premier annual event, NASCC: The Steel Conference, and other special events throughout the year.
If you enjoy offering exceptional customer service to attendees, providing support for exhibitors, managing registration and session data, partnering with vendors to develop and maintain mobile apps and registration/housing websites, and all the other intricate details and logistics associated with coordinating flawless conferences from start to finish, you will enjoy this position!
This role is perfect for a highly motivated, well- prepared, detail oriented, proactive team player who gets excited thinking about how easily they can deal with the ordinary flurry of activity and/or unexpected surprises that tend to occur on-site at events and throughout the event planning process.

Qualifications Ability to travel at least 3-5 times a year is required.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1 – 2 years relevant work experience and knowledge of event planning logistics required.
Excellent oral and written communication, time management, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proficiency in G Suite or similar applications a must.
Experience working with event registration/housing and mobile app vendors is a plus.
