The ESOP Association, a Washington, D.C. – based medium sized national association representing companies with employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and service providers with a professional commitment to ESOPs seeks a qualified, experienced Director of Membership Development. Individual is responsible for membership recruitment and retention of members, membership maintenance tasks, such as all statistical reports, queries and updates in iMIS 20.2, the current membership software package, as well as having a role liaisoning with volunteers who create educational materials on employee ownership and ESOPs.
In addition, the Director of Membership Development will oversee the Publications and Fulfillment Department. This includes directing its staff in this department on the coordination and marketing of its publications and products including fulfillment of orders and inventory of in-house stock.
Ideal candidate should be proficient with the use of databases, knowledge of MS Office Suite programs (Access, Excel, Word). Knowledge of iMIS 20.2 membership software is necessary. Computer network, desktop publishing and SQL knowledge will be a plus.
